Château Cantenac Brown - Bordeaux Collection (France)

The castle is one of the most impressive and unique of all of Bordeaux. It is completely English-styled and surrounded by an English garden. In the early 19th century, John Lewis Brown decided to build a house in Cantenac that would refer to his Scottish roots. At the 1855 classification, Cantenac-Brown obtained the status of Troisième GCC. Since 2006, the domain is owned by the Simon Halabi family. They treat the vineyards with great care for the environment and the natural balance. "Lutte raisonée" is absolutely logical here. Since 2001, they also decided to create a second wine, the BriO of Cantenac Brown. It hardly refers to the 1st wine, and is intended to offer a wine that is a tasty and easy alternative in the kitchen. More merlot is used and 20 to 25% new barrels. Vinification of the grapes is done separately to ensure optimal blend.
