2023 Les Jamelles Vin de Pays d'Oc Rouge Osé 0.75 Ltr. Rouge
picture of

Beautiful orange color with copper reflections. The aromas are more spicy and complex than most white wines. We discover fine notes of ginger, cumin, cloves, juniper berries as well as candied fruit and a light pepper. The whole is supported by very fine tannins that guarantee tension and freshness. Special but pleasant final. Be sure to be surprised by this ancient wine technique.

Delicious with tapas and other Mediterranean snacks. Be sure to try it with Asian cuisine or with an Indian Curry.

climate

Languedoc: Warm summers with many hours of sunshine and mild winters with regular precipitation. The influence of the Mediterranean Sea and the different winds regularize and determine the climate. Due to the higher vineyards it cools down significantly at night, which stimulates the aromas.

soil

The vineyards of the various grapes are mainly located on the foothills of the Montagne Noir. A variation of calcareous/clay soils and calcareous sandy soils. Grapes: Grenache blanc, Viognier, Muscat, Gewürztraminer and Chenin

vinification

A little-known technique that, in contrast to a classic fermentation (and just like with red grapes), allows the white grapes to ferment completely. The contact with the skin creates a darker and orange color, which is also called the 4th color. This is not a rosé or wood-aged color!
